We have an amazing opportunity for a Project Manager with designing experience. This role is initial 12 - 24 month contract for 5 year long program of work.

Key Accountabilities:

As a Design Project Manager, you apply your deep knowledge and experience in the technical, land access, design, construction, and delivery partner engagement, combined with your project planning, scheduling, and reporting abilities to deliver the following:

  • Collaborate with project leads and key stakeholders, and significantly contribute to planning and delivery of detailed/buildable designs in support of a mater schedule and program of work.
  • Use confident and effective communication to establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, leaders, team members and delivery partners to build engagement and deliver win-win outcomes on the business priorities.
  • Lead virtual teams across functional groups to deliver outcomes with the right engagement, providing visibility of progress and issues and quickly reacting to course correct when plans need to change.
  • Complete project administration activities to enable effective delivery, including (but not limited to): design dependencies progress tracking, Risk & Issues Management, tools and Quality reporting requirements.
  • Model continuous professional and personal growth and showcasing learning from experience in relation your specialist skill area and broader program enablement capabilities.

Experience required

  • Strong project management experience and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience relating to Fibre and Fixed Network Sites project planning, scheduling, reporting, implementation, and dependencies management at a program (route) level.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing a project plans with data points illustrating outcomes achieved.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, including Prince 2, PMP, Agile and Waterfall.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage change and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
