The Opportunity
Seeking your specialist Unix/Linux skill set and Python or Shell scripting capability to support large legacy applications within Transport environment.

Great 12 month++ contract, based in Parramatta and WFH.

Key requirements;
1. Intermediate-level coding/scripting in C, Python, Bash or power shell.
2. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, TCP, UDP, load balancing)
3. Experience in use of Linux or Windows based operating systems (tools, location logs, trouble- shooting Domain joins, network connectivity)
4. Strong Linux Server Administration skills or Windows administration, automated deployments
5. Expertise across different backend languages/technologies
6. Experience with configuration management tools: Puppet, Chef
7. Experience as a solutions architect, enterprise architect, or consulting delivery architect working in on-premises and cloud-based environments.
8. Strong Linux Server Administration skills or Windows administration, automated deployments
9. Tools: Jira/Nagios/
10. Previous experience working as a Cloud/DevOps Engineer with a strong development background
11. A very strong working knowledge of the AWS platform (EC2, EKS, Lambda etc)
12. Experience with back-end integrations and connecting disparate systems and platforms
13. Minimum 5+years of experience on platforms - Unix/Linux/Solaris, Windows 7/10 on Commercial platforms
14. Work within the functional engineering teams to triage, analyse, and resolve automation and testing failures
15. Production System support/Maintenance/bug-fixing/support/after hour support
