Is a large and diverse organisation that plays a vital role in the lives of all New Zealanders. We have a current opportunity for a Senior Data Warehouse Developer on a contract basis (up until June 2023). The position will be based in Wellington.

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Good understanding of data warehouse methodologies and techniques
  • 8+ years of continuous data warehouse experience including experience in solution architecture, data migration and integration
  • 8+ years' experience working with Microsoft SSIS
  • 8+ years of continuous experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
  • 8+ years of continuous experience working with T-SQL
  • Any other experience working with RDBMS and other ETL tools will be advantageous
  • Experience in Data Analysis
  • Strong understanding of Data modelling concepts (Third normal form, Dimensional and Data vault). Any experience in Data vault methodology is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in ETL testing (peer reviews, unit, smoke and acceptance testing)
  • Experienced at using any of the 3rd generation software languages C#, Python, Java or similar.
