The Opportunity

We have great contract opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst to work in the Freight Branch of Transport, providing data and research of freight coming into Sea Ports and Airports. Based in the CBD/WFH on 6 month ++ contract.

Key Accountabilities:

You will be working in a high paced environment, and will be accountable for translating data sets and other information into a form that can be easily used to support strategic plans and illustrate progress in realising benefits.

You will develop visualisations and other graphics and maintain quality documentation of analysis, methodology and findings to ensure the provision of insightful, easy to understand reporting.

Essential requirements

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of data analytics and specifications and their application.
• Ideally you will have strong Power BI and SQL and ideally able to map data flows through Azure Data Factory.
• Desirable to have understanding of freight supply chain and/or logistics.
