Is a large and diverse organisation that plays a vital role in the lives of all New Zealanders. We have a current opportunity for 2 Senior Business Analysts on a contract basis, 1-year contract. The position will be based in Wellington. You will be working across several products delivering Data and Analytics solutions that help New Zealanders in their day-to-day life. You will work to deliver a major initiative within both a project structure and a business as the usual setting. You will work closely with numerous stakeholders across the organisation in order to design and develop fit-for-purpose data products and services.

You will be accountable for:

• Requirements gathering and process mapping
• Reviewing and documenting current and future state process, systems, and solutions
• Advising on technical solutions and upgrades
• Supporting the testing process to assess the potential business impact of defects and if required, identify and document workarounds
• Assisting and supporting the communications team as required
• Assisting with production support issues

What you'll need to succeed

You will have the following experience and skillset:

• 5 years + experience in business analysis
• In large government agency experience
• Experience in both Waterfall and Agile
• Strong stakeholders' engagement and management
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
