Sales Manager – IT Professional Services & Recruitment

​Leadership opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate hands-on Sales Manager to join the Finite Group, and lead our expansion in the WA market based out of our Perth CBD office. This role will be responsible for managing ongoing team sales performance, ensuring the team is identifying and converting strategic ICT consulting, services and recruitment engagements from a varied portfolio of clients across commercial enterprise and government.

You will report to and work closely with the Regional Director and National Head of Services, ensuring the ongoing development and capabilities of the team are maximised to optimise performance. This includes new business development, managing your own client accounts and delivering to an agreed sales GP target.

You will provide visible leadership, demonstrating a strong growth and commercially orientated mind-set. The role will champion a customer focused culture, driving innovation, and work with the Leadership Team to drive organic growth in new & existing markets.

Key drivers:

  • Manage and drive the day to day sales activity of the WA team

  • Identify IT services engagements, projects and consulting opportunities from a diverse range of Enterprise accounts across Financial Services, Mining and Resources, Energy, Telco, Government and industry/Commerce.

  • Set team and individual sales targets /goals / KPIs in alignment with quarterly / annual business goals and commercial drivers

  • Lead from the front to ensure continuous growth, maximising business opportunities to enhance profitability and market share whilst increasing year on year sales.

  • Proactively drive operational management and cultural/change initiatives motivating a team that is driven by collaboration and service excellence.

  • Ensure optimal customer satisfaction, with regular reporting through the use of feedback surveys.

  • Take initiative for continuous business improvements to deliver to a defined business plan in line with commercial objectives.

  • Hire additional sales people and build out capability of the team

Successful qualities we seek:

  • A proven track record in sales and sales management and a background in IT Professional Services and Consulting AND ideally also IT recruitment/ staff augmentation.

  • A credible sales leader that can evidence a track record of success in managing a high performing team delivering a range of professional services to a portfolio of enterprise level accounts.

  • Commercial acumen to ensure headcount and financial growth is achieved through a defined strategic sales / business plan.

  • The ability to drive and manage change across cultural, operational and strategic areas.

  • Previous experience of managing a large-scale specialist IT Professional services / IT Consulting operation with an established significant consultant base.

  • A hands on Leader that will lead from the front, mentor, guide and take the business to higher levels of performance and success.
