Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

The Portfolio Architect is a key senior position within MPI Architecture & Assurance. You will be accountable for the maintenance of all business and technology portfolio related architectural models and standards. You will be responsible for understanding and documenting the business portfolio from a business functional view to the applications and technologies associated in the delivery of these functions. You will produce architectural roadmaps for defining the delivery of both business capabilities, application consolidation and technology solutions to meet both the business & BTIS strategic goals.

The Portfolio Architect through effective engagement with the business portfolio and all initiatives within the portfolio and wider Architecture & Assurance function, will be responsible for the definition, development, maintenance and communication of the portfolio's visions, architectural roadmaps, high-level conceptual architecture solutions and transitional approaches to enable the delivery of the vision.

Mōu - About You

  • Significant experience in IT or relevant Architecture/consultancy experience, ideally as an Enterprise or Senior Solution Architect
  • Knowledge and experience with TOGAF, ArchiMate or similar architecture framework
  • Ability to engage in all levels of business and technical conversations at an appropriate level
  • Knowledge and experience in Business Architecture
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive, driven and outcome focused
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels throughout an organisation.
