Portfolio Analyst
FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.
We are a seeking an experienced and switched on Portfolio Analyst for an initial 12-month fixed
term contract based in Sydney.

Key focus areas:
● Monthly financial activities:
o Invoicing, purchase orders and non-resource accruals
o Cost recovery
o Preparation of team data for forecasting submission
o Forecast vs Actuals variance analysis for monthly financials

● Resource management:
o Tracking and entering of resource effort into web-based workforce tool to enable
accurate forecasting, capitalisation, and cost recovery, and to support workforce
planning activities
o Tracking resource movements between delivery teams and across delivery areas
o Reconciling timesheets and vendor invoices

● Reporting:
o Financial and team-based reporting to provide data driven insights
o Support Pod lead to manage capacity, team efficiency metrics

● Project/program financials
● Program/project coordination
● Reporting
● Advanced Excel skills
● Agile experience
● Jira & Confluence experience a bonus
● Organised and attention to detail
● Positive attitude and a team player
● Adaptable
