The Role:

Based in Melbourne, your daily duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Monitor and organise the Payroll Inbox & answer enquiries in a timely manner
  • Prepare and process payroll calculations and run out of cycle payments when needed, e.g for Resignations and back payments etc.
  • Use EPS system and make payments where necessary
  • Provide guidance and understanding to all users regarding ADP payroll system
  • Provide support to produce year-end Income tax statements and ESS statements.
  • Work in consultation with Payroll Business Partner and Finance to provide general ledger reconcilliation as required
  • Produce, distribute and file payroll reports as required.
  • Respond to requests for adhoc payroll reports from authorised internal stakeholders.
  • Run and prepare the monthly leave accrual reports for Finance and GL & Payroll Tax journals
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual statuatory obligations (Payroll tax, PAYG, Superannuation, workers compensations)
  • Assist with preparing monthly calculations for intercompany chargebacks for ex-patriate and seconded employees.
  • Complete any other tasks/projects as required by the Payroll Business Partner and Head of HR.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, setting and managing multiple conflicting priorities within specified time frames.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
