Are you an Outsystems developer with the ability to get Baseline clearance looking for a long term engagement?
FinXL is seeking a skilled OutSystems Developer to play a key role in modernising an existing application landscape by converting legacy C# applications to the OutSystems platform.
About the Role:
As an OutSystems Developer with C# skills, you will be responsible for analysing, designing, developing, testing, and deploying new applications on the OutSystems platform, directly migrating functionalities and data from the existing C# systems. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and other developers to ensure successful and seamless transitions, contributing to a more streamlined and future-proof IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse existing C# applications to understand their functionality, data models, and integrations.
- Design and develop robust and scalable solutions on the OutSystems platform, replicating and enhancing the features of the legacy C# applications.
- Develop integrations between OutSystems applications and other enterprise systems, potentially including existing C# components during the transition phase.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient OutSystems code following best practices and development standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the OutSystems environment.
You will have Proven experience (typically 2+ years) as a software developer with a strong focus on C# and the .NET framework with demonstrable experience (ideally 1+ years) developing applications using the OutSystems low-code platform.
