The role & responsibilities :

Builds, installs and tests business enablement software in accordance with enterprise architecture including:

• Installation of the software and patches;
• Configuration of the software; and Systems monitoring.
• Ensures that the business enablement software performance is in accordance with their ICT standards.
• Develops and maintains technical and supporting documentation, reports and records regarding business enablement software.
• Conducts system tests as required.Assists in the evaluation of business enablement software to ensure existing and future business needs are met.
• Liaises with other members of the IT Division, business units, vendors and external service providers in the configuration and maintenance of system software and development of software tool sets.
• Maintains a watching brief on existing and emerging technologies to ensure currency of knowledge and to anticipate possible impact on the departments business.
• Participates in project works as required.
• Contributes to the development of the IT Division's Business Plan.
• Corporate Responsibilities Exhibits accountability, professional integrity and respect consistent with the their Values and Code of Conduct, and the public sector Code of Ethics.
• Ensures all correspondence is to a professional standard consistent with the style guide.
• Performs other duties as directed.
