You will genuinely get to build, test and manage a huge and diverse array of tech, from cutting edge AWS IaC, full VMware management, switches and Palo Alto firewalls, Windows Server + server systems, Cisco UCS and Dell vSan and Poweredge servers, EMC storage, Citrix, Office365 and more.

We obviously don't expect you to have experience in all of these, but a base level of Windows Server, networking and VMware experience would be a great start and allow us to build your skillset on the above.

You will undertake project work and function as an escalation point for supporting the Enterprise Services Team. Supporting both systems and infrastructure, you will have strong all-round knowledge and experience in multiple fields such as:

  • Windows Server systems (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP etc)
  • Office 365
  • Knowledge of enterprise networking solutions, firewalls, routers and switches
  • Building and maintaining managed service AWS client environments primarily using IaC (Terraform, Puppet)
  • Liaising with the business to communicate IT capability and required resources for upcoming projects
  • Monitoring IT availability against SLAs, developing & maintaining monitoring capability and performing tuning & optimization tasks to improve the overall capability and performance of IT Systems

To be considered, you must demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications and experience in Systems/Infrastructure management
  • Large/complex projects and as an escalation point across complex services and environments
  • Managing Microsoft server technologies, Office365
  • Advanced knowledge of VMware ESXi/vCenter
  • Hands-on switching and routing skills (Cisco IOS/NS-OS)
  • Strong understanding of IT security principals
