Due to business requirements, our Local Government client is seeking an IT Support Analyst who can deliver Level 1 and 2 support in Melbourne.

This is a 6 month contract with 2 days in office hybrid flexibility.

What you'll do:

  • Provide Level 1.5 and Level 2 technical, operational and business support for corporate core line of business systems, applications and databases.
  • Manage application & operational queue in ITSM, triage/troubleshoot and resolve incidents and fulfill requests. Ensure adherence to ITIL process such as Incident, Problem and Change management.
  • Continuously explore ways to improve the service delivery function and end-user experience by optimising application & business systems operational support.
  • Assist with internal IT CAB processes and manage system upgrades, roll-outs, maintenance, enhancements and break-fix schedules.
  • Assist with BAU and Transformational projects including core system upgrades

What you'll need:

  • Demonstrated experience as 2nd level application support for core line of business systems and applications, including ability to communicate with business users and technical teams.
  • Experience with technologies such as MS SQL/SQL Server, SQL Databases, MS .NET Framework and IIS Web Applications.
  • Experience with cloud based technologies such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and JIRA.

Desirable:

  • Local Government experience.
