Our client is looking for a collaborative and experienced ICT Project Coordinator. In a very busy environment, our client is seeking a candidate that is happy to support the senior team when necessary. You will have to cover the full range of project coordination task, undertaking administrative tasks delegated by the Project Manager/s. Supports the Project Manager/s and Programme Coordinator, and day-to-day operation of the programme/ project. The preferred candidate will have knowledge and experience in ICT project coordination.

Your new role

  • Assist with planning and coordination of the project and its activities
  • Monitor implementation activities
  • Support PMO with keeping project activities on schedule and within budget
  • Coordinate project communications
  • Support management of resources, workloads, and tasks
  • Oversee project budget, including tracking billing, payments, and other financial transactions
  • Coordinate interactions/ engagement between project resources and other stakeholders
  • Schedule and organise project meetings and events
  • Oversee the use of technology for project operations, e.g., video conferencing technology, presentation software and other programme/ project management technology
  • Create and maintain project records, reports, presentations, and proposals
  • Manage communications platforms including project inboxes and intranet pages

What you'll need to succeed

You will have previous strong experience in Programme management. The ideal candidate will also possess the following:

  • Experience providing coordination-level support in an ICT project environment
  • Sound understanding of effective project coordination and project management approaches
  • A highly collaborative style of working
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive working approach, with the ability to take initiative and actively identify issues, risks, and dependencies as they arise
  • A strong, practical, and pragmatic approach to solving future-focused problems
  • Ability to collaborate, influence and engage with our internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • An understanding of and commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
