We are currently sourcing for a Health based Non-profit organisation in inner Melbourne. They are involved specifically in research, and they are making strides in re-imagining the future of Children's health.

The Role

Seeking an experienced Environment Coordinator/Manager to join a Non-profit organisation in Melbourne's inner suburbs. You will support the Operations, Support and Delivery teams across the program, to coordinate, schedule, track and report on deployments to all non-Production and Production environments across the landscape.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that upgrades, enhancements, patches, code and configuration builds, defect and production incident fixes, are forward planned and tracked, ensuring version control, release management processes support, enhance production and testing quality and control.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and maintain regular or ad hoc deployments and releases across all IT environments for all applications within the relevant landscape.
  • Manage, schedule and coordinate all reformats, refreshes and reset-up of clean build environments (i.e. able to reinstall the entire application where required)
  • Manage, schedule and coordinate all retrofitting of Production Changes into the non-production environments
  • Maintain configuration management of all environments, and integration diagram of each build environment per application
  • Allocation and scheduling of backup of environments prior to deploy where applicable and coordination of roll back in the event of deployment failure
  • Maintain and own the Environment Management Forward Tracking Sheet, coordinate updates on a daily/ad hoc basis, chair Environment Management weekly meeting, socialise change, negotiate deployment windows, and coordinate approvals from Custodians.
  • Management of real-time dashboards to reflect status.
  • Management of all related tickets in Jira
  • Governance and management of release notes/deployment notes

Ideal Candidate:

  • Multiple years' experience in a Environment/Config/Change Manager or Coordinator role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great systems knowledge


  • Open to a total package of approx $145-150K (Including Super)
  • 10-15% bonuses available depending on individual circumstance (NPO Benefits)
