Role:

We are looking for a Draftsperson for 12-24 months contrcat for a long term program of work. As Draftsperson, you will provide Optic Fibre design solutions by preparing detailed AutoCAD shape files, kml, kmz files, and 'For Construction' plans, assisting with / contributing to material ordering, generation of Land Access & Activity Notices and associated tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of detailed spatially corrected construction drawings in accordance with standards and applicable legislation.
• Accurately and efficiently contribute to completion of detailed designs, cost estimates and feasibility studies, within delivery targets.
• Build effective relationships with customer and stakeholder groups to allow timely delivery of customer services.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to support increased operating efficiency and customer focus.
• Share AutoCAD / drafting technical knowledge and skills with the team

Experience required

• 5+ years' experience in the application of AutoCAD 2D, with a background in Telecommunications Design and/or Construction desirable
• Knowledge of Network Architecture: A good working knowledge of telecommunications network architecture, and optic fibre construction practices Experience in Technical Environment: Demonstrated experience with production of AutoCAD Construction drawings
• Presentation and reporting: Ability to produce detailed reports utilising available IT systems.
