We require two .Net Developers to join an established team whose current program of work involves enhancing its existing systems to meet business objectives (short term) and preparing these systems to be transitioned to enterprise platforms (long term).

You will be required to provide maintenance, support and enhancements to the application whilst ensuring the application remains operational and available for daily use.

Some of your duties will include:

Support and Maintenance

  • Rectification of break/ fixes which include the development, testing and provision of implementation support of associated minor enhancements
  • Development and ongoing maintenance of the application
  • Preparing, monitoring and keeping all documentation up to date

Enhancements

  • Code build, unit testing, integration and management functions within the Departmental code repository (i.e. TFS and Bitbucket)
  • Deployment of code into the Development and Test Environments
  • Production of Migration (Deployment) Instructions as per Departmental standards and formats and support in the deployment process to controlled environments
  • Maintenance and configuration of Dynatrace to support system monitor activities.

To be considered, you must demonstrate the following:

  • NET core & C sharp experience
  • Proficient in Restful services and APIs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable

  • A strong command of SQL and T-SQL with specific expertise in query optimisation
  • Experience working in an Azure environment
  • Containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes. Agile certification
  • Experience using Atlassian toolset (Jira and Confluence)
  • Experience in managing and configuration of Dynatrace to facilitate the monitoring of the application and the environment
  • Experience with open ID connect / OAuth
  • Experience in automated testing - i.e. NUnit.
