Our client is a market leading retail brand experiencing significant growth across the Australian market. With new project requirements in the pipeline, the organisation now requires a Teradata Data Engineer to join their team.

Reporting to the Head of Data Analytics, this role will see you involved in design, support and configuration with a focus on the Teradata platform. This position will also play a crucial role in the imminent transition to google cloud/analytics.

Key Skills Required:

• Complete technical and administrative understanding of data base structures, theories, principles and practices
• Demonstrated experience with large solutions (2TB +), specifically Teradata.
• Exposure to google cloud/analytics is highly desirable but not mandatory
• Demonstrated experience in SDLC with Data Warehouse Projects
• Excellent technical knowledge of SQL including the ability to deliver complex procedures and scripts
• Understanding around delivery concepts with BI delivery tools such as MicroStrategy, Cognos and Business Objects and their value to the business
• Excellent communication skills

Salary and Benefits

• $140-150k Package
• Work from home hybrid role
