Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
As a Data Architect, you will work with the business to understand the information and datasets, the common elements, information and data flows, metadata and master data. From this understanding you will design an appropriate information and data architecture, including the conceptual and logical data models and standards for the information and data itself.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience delivering data or information architecture services and information and data architecture frameworks
- Comfortable in managing customer-facing roles liaising with all levels of management and staff
- A proven track record of successful Business and IT Stakeholder management
- Strong written and verbal communication
Desired:
- An understanding of the management of information and data within the New Zealand government context
- An understanding of the use and value of structured and unstructured information, spatial data and digital library services.
