The Role & key responsibilities:

Liaises with line management, project managers and customers to schedule tasks within agreed project schedules and scopes of work.​
Ensure all Rio Tinto Health and Safety Standards, Policies and Procedures are adhered to at all times ​
Co-ordinates and implements efficient and effective vendor management and direct site Supervision for site based activities.​
Facilitate Pre-Start vendor meetings, conduct CRM Field Verifications and auditing to ensure compliance with RT Standards and procedures ​
Ensuring effective communication between all teams, Stake Holders, Project Managers and Engineers​
Have a strong and positive Safety culture in mentoring and coaching vendors to ensure projects are delivered safely, effectively and efficiently
Assist CMS Superintendent with management of HSEQ activities, including incident investigations, hazard rectification and regular reviews of IST APAC West policies, guidance notes, procedures and the implementation of the same.
Responsible for working with vendors as part of contractor on-boarding in preparation for site mobilisations

Key relationships:

Strong collaboration required between vendor provider, RTIO and IS&T.​
Communicate and collaborate with CMS Superintendent, Project Managers and Engineers on a regular basis to ensure that appropriate project commitments are met.​

The role supports the safe and efficient delivery of Capital and Sustaining projects for the customer. The CMS Supervisor position ensures efficient and visible collaboration between RT site personnel and the APAC West Winu Project Managers.
