About the company:

Our client is a leading specialist in Workers Compensation claims management with an impressive track record, reputation and focus on excellence in service and innovation. Our client is seeking an impressive case manager to join their highly skilled team located in Burwood or Docklands to assist injured workers in improving their health to return to work as effectively as possible.

The Role:

This role will see you assisting injured workers return to work through person centred case management to ensure entitlements to compensation are made suitably. Your daily duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Assessing liability on claims
• Performing claim reviews
• Liaising with stakeholders
• Liaising with practitioners to facilitate medical management
• Responding to email and phone enquiries
• Assist workers return to work and manage chronic ill health

Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess the following;

• Prior experience as a Case Manager with the VIC Workers Compensation Scheme, ideally in Return to Work or Long-Term Case Management
• Knowledge of the systems Novus and Action
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• A high level of organisational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to work individually and within a team
• Must be resilient, motivated and energetic
