Our sister company, FinXL are looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager for our IT Professional Services business in Brisbane. The successful candidate will have the ability to capture new clients, build strong relationships and drive financial growth through providing IT solutions.

In this strategic solution sales role, you will be responsible for developing, leveraging and driving our current services, ensuring FinXL is identifying and converting high value services engagements from our existing national and local portfolio as well as opening new name clients.

The role is strongly suited to someone who has held a senior level recruitment sales or key account management role or, someone who is ready for a step up into such a role.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Grow your technology network to develop new and existing business relationships

  • Maintain strong positive relationships with customers, sales and delivery teams, with a particular focus on strategic accounts

  • Be able to consult with our clients to ensure we are contributing to pre-sales solutions

  • Have confidence to run deals, prepare business proposals, and respond to tenders

  • Oversee the delivery team, providing technical and people leadership with an emphasis on problem solving and supporting/integrating staff on customer site

  • Manage the implementation of delivery processes and procedures

  • Control cost and achieve budget to actualise profit expectations. This includes determining ways to reduce cost without sacrificing customer satisfaction and delivery performance

  • Oversee delivery resource utilisation, including increases, decreases and changes

  • Manage service metrics, including tracking, reporting and feedback to improve client services
