The Client

Our client is an ASX listed retail company with a huge Australian and New Zealand footprint. They are currently going through a complete IT transformation across every aspect of the business. They are investing a substantial sum into this project. They are looking for an experienced Application Support candidate to join the team, and assist in supporting the continuous growth at a store level.

The Role

Your role will be to investigate and resolve application issues across the company. It is a permanent role, only available due to an internal promotion.

This role will involve:

• 2nd and 3rd level support
• Providing Quality testing
• Application support of SIT and UAT
• Post deployment validation

Skills and Experience

We are seeking a candidate with previous retail-based Application Support experience.

This candidate will have:

• a tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent
• demonstrated success in 2nd or 3rd level application support service delivery in a Retail company
• strong understanding of POS/Supply Chain/Inventory/Financial applications
• Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills
• Strong communication skills
